Models Own - Polish For Tans Nail Art

Hello!  I couldn't resist the opportunity for a gradient using the lovely new shades from the Models Own Polish For Tans collection.

Look how nicely they all blend together!

Now, I'm never one to leave a gradient just on it's own so I thought I'd add a bit of a black and white pattern over the top.

To do this, I used striping tape to mark out the pattern and then dotting tools to paint in the black and white.  A bit time consuming but the end result looks really effective.

Finally, I thought a few dots might look a bit cool too (always a bit of a risk at this point of ruining the look by taking it too far!)

But luckily this seemed to work!

  1. This looks really cool - both the dot-less and the dotted versions.

  2. Such a fun mani, I love how they look together and the addition in the b/w design on top is stunning.
