Models Own Festival Collection Nail Art

Wednesday, 29 April 2015

Hello!  So I showed you the lovely new Festival Collection from Models Own on Monday, today I just couldn't resit using it for a little bit of nail art.

I've started off with a gradient - don't these colours go together so well?  Lovely and bright!

I couldn't help jazzing it up a bit more and added a cheeky bit of leopard print too.

I think the leopard really finishes this off nicely.  I decided to mix up the patterns though and just put the pattern on my tips and base on some nails, so you could still see the lovely gradient underneath.

NEW! Models Own Festival Collection Swatches

Monday, 27 April 2015

Hello!  I've got some fun colours to show you today from Models Own.  This is their new Festival Collection.  This contains four bright shades and a glitter topper.

Models Own Festival Collection Swatches

Starting with Blue Skies.  This is a lovely bright blue!  This was opaque in two coats and dried to a lovely shine.

This  is a really lovely bright blue shade,  I'm definitely in to this!

Next we have Green Fields - this is a rich, bright green.

Again, perfectly opaque in two coats.  I'm note sure this is a colour I'd wear on it's own (I'm not a massive green fan!) but I think it'll go nicely in a gradient or in some nail art.

Onto Pink Wellies.  Oooh, I do love a nice bright pink!

Opaque in two coats and lovely and bright.  LOVE.

This is Purple Bandana.  A really nice shade of purple.

Again, opaque in two coats.  This is a really pretty, bright and unusual shade.  Very nice!

Finally we have Colour Explosion.   This is a glitter top chock full of silver and larger pastel pieces.  I've stuck one coat over each of the colours in this collection.

This is very sparkly and glittery!  I think it would look lovely over a gradient too.

So - what do you think?  I think all the colours here are really great, summery shades!  I can definitely see that I'll get a lot of use out of them.

If you want to get your hands on these lovely colours, they are priced £5 each and available at www.modelsownit.com, Models Own Bottleshops and Superdrug stores nationwide.
