Re-using a mani - Day 2

Tuesday, 31 March 2015

Hello!  So yesterday I showed you a yellow, pink and orange gradient and I explained I was going to show you how you can continue to reuse the same manicure by adding a bit of extra jazz!

So, taking yesterdays manicure, I've added some stripes over the top using black and white polish.

To ensure that my stripes were SUPER straight, I've used striping tape, painted over the top in white or black and then let this dry completely before ripping it off.  (Basically, with striping tape, either rip it straight off whilst it is wet, or let the polish dry completely - anything in-between will end up in a mess!)

Cute, right?  Stay tuned tomorrow where I'm going to add a little bit more.

Re-using a mani - Day 1

Monday, 30 March 2015

Hello!  I'm so sorry I've been under the radar the last few weeks - sometimes real life gets in the way (boo! hiss!).  Anyway, I'm going to make a determined effort to get some posts up, as I've got loads of manicures to show you.  To start the week, I thought I'd show you a little example of how you can get some extra miles out of your manicure.

So today, I've got a gradient going on - instead of doing my gradient all in one direction, I've mixed it up a bit.  I love this colour combination!

Stay tuned tomorrow because I'm going to jazz this up further!

I'll apologise in advance - I've got a bit of left-over henna on my hands, so I hope it's not too distracting!
