Halloween Skull Nail Art Tutorial

Hello!  Today I've got a tutorial for a Halloween look that I have created in conjunction with Your Nails Magazine. This is a really fun nail art look that's easy and quick to recreate.

For this you will need:

• White nail polish
• Red nail polish
• Black nail polish
• Black nail art pen
• Top coat
• Dotting tools
• Thin nail art brush
• Orange stick
• Diamantes (optional)
• Nail adornments (optional)

To start, paint your nails a white base coat.

Using a thin nail art brush, paint a couple of straight red stripes onto your nails.

Add a second red stripe onto your nails.

Next, add some black stripes to your nails.

Add a couple more black stripes to finish off your stripy nails.

Next, onto your skull nails.  Start by using a dotting tool to add two large eyes onto your nails with black polish.



Use a small dotting tool to add small dots for the nose.



Use a black nail art pen (or thin brush and black polish) to draw a semi-circle for the mouth.



Carefully then add small black lines across the mouth.



Let this dry and then finish with a top coat to seal in your design.



I've finished off this look with a couple of red diamantes on the eyes and a cute ribbon nail adornment on my index finger.
