Models Own HyperGel Collection - Swatches!

Thursday, 30 January 2014

Oooh! Exciting swatches to show you today!

Models Own are launching a new range of HyperGel polishes that promise "super-high-glossy gel-effect with extra vibrant colour" plus the added bonus of being "highly pigmented, long-lasting and chip resistant".  There are ten new shades in the collection and I have luckily been provided three to review for you today.

The three I am going to show you are Cornflower Gleam (blue), Pink Veneer and Lilac Sheen.

So, starting off with the rather lovely Cornflower Gleam.  Oh, hellow lovely unusual blue shade!  This is a lovely colour and as promised, dries to a gorgeous shine (no top coat in these pictures!).  This is two coats of Cornflower Gleam.

Next we have Pink Veneer.  Again, drying to a lovely glossy finish, and really quite a lovely baby pink.  I LIKE THIS A LOT.  I use pink a lot for nail art and I'm always on the look out for my next favourite baby pink and this is now top of the pops, squee!  This is two coats of Pink Veneer, no top coat.

Finally, we have Lilac Sheen.  This is a really pretty shade and again as per the previous two polishes, dries to a lovely shiny sheen with no top coat required.  Lovely.  This is two coats of Lilac Sheen.

So, what do you think?  I am very excited by these new Models Own releases.  These polishes are really lovely to apply and provide an excellent finish, as promised.  I am definitely looking forward to seeing what the other shades in the collection are and trying them out.

Also, anyone think these three shades are crying out to be gradiented together?!  Watch this space ;-)

These polishes will be priced at £5 each and will be launched at Models Own bottleshops throughout February and March 2014.

  5. Good call Dee - yes, that sale is WELL WORTH CHECKING OUT! OH HELLO!

Lizzie! Yes, they are my natural nails. I've actually had to give them quite a big chop, they are normally a bit longer, but moving house (and the associated DIY that comes with it) has wrecked havoc with my talons recently. SADFACE.
