There are five polishes in this collection, all with a "Royal" theme:
- Princess - a pink/gold textured glitter combination
- Majesty - a gold textured glitter
- Lady - a white/pearl textured glitter
- Duchess - a pale beige textured glitter
- Countess - a deep rich brown textured glitter.
This is Majesty. GOLD AND SPARKLY. What not to love?! This is two coats of Majesty.
This is Lady. Now this wasn't as great as I thought it would be, as it dries a bit dull, and not as sparkly as it could be. Basically, I've been slightly poiled by the Seventeen version (comparison below).
This is Duchess. This is very pretty. This is a beige glitter with loads of silver in there too. Lovely! Two coats of Duchess here.
And finally, we have Countess. This is a rich brown glitter with hints of gold also. This is two coats of Countess. I really like this, it's very unusual.
Right, so. These polishes ARE lovely. However, there has been a bit of an unfortunate "pipping to the post" situation here. Remember the Seventeen Rock Hard Couture Effects polishes I showed you? Well we've got some dupes going on here.
First off, Lady and Celestial Pearl. To be totally honest, out of the two, I think Celestial Pearl had a much nicer, sparklier finish and a slightly paler shade. So I'd probably pick that one out of the two. Although they are very similar.
Princess and Bijoux Baby are the same polish. Again, Bijoux Baby might have a slight edge with the sparkles.
Finally; Majesty and Charm Bracelet. VERY SIMILAR, but again I think Charm Bracelet has the edge on the sparkles.
So, overall, I'm loving this collection, however, if you've already got your hands on Seventeen's polishes then I don't think you really need to duplicate, as theirs do slightly have the edge if sparkle is your thing.
