Hello! Today is Day 7 of the 33 Day Challenge, and the theme for today is "Art with oldest untried". This is a tricky one for me, because I can't erally be sure what my oldest untried is, as I am pretty poor at keeping track of what I've used and what I haven't... I did use to have an untried drawer in my helmer, but then I decided to arrange everything by brand instead and the organisation has gone to pot!
SO. Oldest untried. I picked up quite a few Misa polsihes at Professional Beauty last year, and there are still a couple there I haven't tried, so I think they are a pretty good offering. So, here we have Misa - Krystal Water.
Now; this is a beautiful colour, and it's ever so shimmery, but in comparison to all the other beautiful Misa polsihes that I've got, the formula on this is very thin, and this took about 5-6 coats to go opaque. Annoying! And subconsciously this must have been the reason this remained untried!
Anyway, to jazz this up, I then used Misa - Toxic Seduction, which is a gorgeous deep shimmery green (which is more or less a one coater!) and added some stripes, and some diamantes. So a pretty straight forward manicure from me today. And a polish that's probably going to the bottom of the drawer. Life is too short for 6 coats!
