So, for this manicure you will need:
- Base colour for your nails (I've chosen Barry M Cyan Blue as I think it contrasts well white the white and black of the cows face)
- White polish
- Black polish
- Light pink polish
- Dark pink polish
- Dotting tools
- Top coat
Next for the cow print... This is really simple. Get a large dotting tool and some black polish, and simply blob on some black shapes onto your white nails.
Next for the cows. Start by painting quite a long circular shape onto your nails with white polish.
Use a dotting tool to add small circles for ears.
Next, get your black polish again and add some black shapes around the top half of your cows head. Try and stay away from the bottom half as that is where we are going to put the mouth.
Place small dots inside your cows ears using pink polish.
Next, using a pale pink polish, paint a small semi-circle at the tip of your nail.
Using the darker pink polish, place too small dots for nostrils.
Now, we need to do the eyes. Now normally I'd start with white or black for the eyes, but as our little cow here has a mixture of these colours on his face, I've gone for a blue to start off with, so the eyes will stand out.
Next, place some white dots inside your blue dots.
Then place some tiny black dots in the centre of the eyes.
Let all of this dry throroughly then apply some top coat.
Cow nails, done! Aren't these so fun? Hehe! Remember, if you do give any of my tutorials a try, I'd love to see them, so feel free to share them on my facebook page.
