Introducing Nelly Polishes...

Wednesday, 14 August 2013

I've got some exciting polishes to show you today!  Nelly Polish is a new UK Indie brand with a super clever unique twist to get around the ridiculous shipping regulations that Royal Mail have imposed...  yep!  Dried nail polish!

So, you can mix your own nail polish using pre-mixed dried ingredients (Nelly Mixture) and any old bottle of clear nail polish (3-free recommended).  Save money, save the environment, save shipping costs - all at the same time!  For more information about how this works, click here.

Nelly Polish is also available to UK customers pre-mixed and I've got two polishes from the Fungooms Collection to show you today... Polperro and Looe.

So first up we have Polperro.  This is an orange jelly mixed with copper and gold glitter.  Rather than build up layers I put two coats of Polperro over Barry M Papaya and look!  It's such a pretty combination!

And next we have Looe, this is a spring green jelly with matte hot pink and yellow glitter.  I layered two coats of this over Sinful Colors Exotic Green and again, it's such an unusual combination, I think this polish will be really great to incorporate into some nail art at Christmas.

  2. I am just writing up my reviews of the Nelly Polishes now, I love them, not least because I felt a bit like a mad scientist mixing them up at home!

  3. I'm definitely tempted by 'Looe'. I love the colour combination and I went on holiday there when I was a little kid :D
