For this you will need the following:
- Base colour (I've chosen a deep red).
- White polish
- Black polish
- Coloured polishes for skull face (if required)
- Dotting tools
- Diamantes
- Top coat
Then use a large dotting tool (or a paint brush) and draw a large circle on your nail using white polish.
Extend the large circle at the bottom with a small square/rectangle shape using white polish.
Use black polish and a large dotting tool and place to large circles for the eyes.
Use a small dotting tool and black polish and place three small dots close together in an upside down triangle pattern for your nose.
Use a thin dotting tool, or thin paintbrush to paint a straight line for the mouth.
Add in little strips of black across the mouth using black polish.
Now, I've then added some orange/ red dots onto the face of my skull, this is up to you, I just thought it made it look a little funkier.
Wait for this to dry thoroughly and then apply a top coat. I've added some orange and red diamantes for the eyes to finish the look off.
So there you have it! Skull nail art, done, and it's all pretty simple. I may give this another go soon and mix up the colour combinations as I reckon loads of different colours would look pretty ace too.
