Hello! I've got some VERY exciting swatches to show you today! They are so pretty! I've managed to get my grubby little paws on the Color Club Halo Hues 2013 collection, and I've got swatches of all six polishes to show you today.
As an overall (so I don't repeat myself and bore you all!) these polishes apply brilliantly, no streaking/blad patches (which can be the case with holographic polishes) and all these swatches are just TWO COATS. Excellent. They are fast drying too, so you can go from zero - sparkle party on your hands in just a few minutes; win!
I have taken all these photos with a lamp pointing at my hands, so you can see the holographic effect. The holographic effect isn't so noticeable in flat light (i.e no sunshine), but whilst I spend most of my day sitting under flourescent tube lighting at work, I could see the holographic very clearly. And also, the holographic effect is EXCELLENT when you are out in the sunshine, which amazingly we've had quite a bit of recently!
The six polishes in this collection are Kismet (silvery/green), Cosmic Fate (peach), Miss Bliss (pink), Over The Moon (blue), Eternal Beauty (purple) and Beyond (black/grey).
First off we have Kismet. This is a silvery, slightly green colour.
Next is Cosmic Fate. LOVE THIS.
This is Miss Bliss, which is a lovely girly pink colour.
This is Over The Moon, again beautiful, beautiful polish.
Next we have Eternal Beauty. This is a lovely purple shade.
Finally, we have Beyond. LOVE THIS.
So, what do you think? I am pretty much in love with all these polishes, but the darker shades are jumping out at me more (because they are the kind of colours I go for more usually) but the pale shades are excellent for the sunshine. This is the first time I've tried Color Club polishes and I am very impressed.
