Animal print with Barry M Nail Art Pens

Tuesday, 2 July 2013

Hello!  I thought I'd show you today a little zebra (or tiger, I suppose!) I did using Barry M's pretty freaking fabulous nail art pens.   I first got hold of these and reviewed them in April, and I've used them loads since then, and they are still working great and haven't run out, so I am very impressed, it's made creating nail art a million times easier.

So I started with a gradient using Barry M Neon Yellow, Barry M Limited Edition Summer Brights in Green and Barry M Guava from their new Gelly collection.  (If you want any hints and tips for perfecting your gradients, I've done an updated tutorial here).

Once I'd finished the gradient, I used the black nail art pen to create an animal print pattern on my nails.  Really simple but I love the effect!

I have actually been looking a lot on these nail pens from Barry M, but didn't quite know if I should give them a go. I think I will now ;)
