Salons Direct: Zig-Zag Nail Art with China Glaze

Sunday, 23 June 2013

Hello!  I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend.  I have teamed up with Salons Direct to show you some nail art using China Glaze polishes.  Last week I showed you a tutorial for striping tape gradients and today I've got a bit of a zig-zag party going on.

For this manicure I've used Heli-Yum, Concrete Catwalk and Some Like It Haute.

I started off by painting each nail with the lighter of the two shades I was using, and then once it was totally dry, I used zig-zag manicure tape placed from my nail base to tip, painted on the second colour and quickly ripped off the guide before it was dry.  You can either rip it off straight away, or leave it to dry completely.  If you rip it off at any stage in-between you will find the pattern won't hold.

So this is a pretty straightforward, easy way to jazz up your manicure, I hope you like it!
