Hello! I have some really pretty swatches to show you today from the lovely new collection from Pretty and Polished. This is their Sweet Sixteen collection, and there are three really cute polishes in this collection; 16 Candles, Daddy Daughter Dance and To Be A Lady.
I am a massive fan of Pretty & Polished, and if you want to check out some previous swatches, then clicky here.
First up we have 16 Candles. This is a peach base with loads of hexagonal glitter in yellow, purples and red.
This is two coats of 16 Candles over a white base. I've used a white base for all of these polishes so that the colour stands out more, and I don't end up with too much glitter ruining the look through too many layers. If you have more patience, you could probably build it up to opaque in 3-4 thin layers. This polish is really pretty.
This is Daddy Daughter Dance. This is a pale turquoise base chock full of green, purple, turquoise and lilac multi-glitter.
Again, two coats over white. This polish is absolutely stunning! It's like the sea! I love also that there is a mixture of sparkly glitter and matte glitter, it really works. Beautiful.
Finally we have To Be A Lady. This is a really pale pink base with loads of purple, peach and navy blue pieces of glitter in it.
Again, two coats over white. This has a few really large glitter pieces in it too, which work really well, and you don't have to go fishing to get them out. Really pretty pink, like cupcakes!
So what do you think? Which one is your favourite? Me, personally, I am in love with Daddy Daughter Dance, it's so unusual and dreamy. What I LOVE about these polishes is that they are absolutely chock full of glitter and it's really easy to get good coverage. You don't need to leave these sitting upside down to distribute the glitter which is great.
This collection is currently on sale for $7 a polish, and they are limited edition, so if you want to get your hands on any of these pretties, better make it quick!
