Crumpets Nail Tarts - June Tri-Polish Challenge Day 4

Thursday, 27 June 2013

Hello!  It is the final day of the June Tri-Polish Challenge hosted by The Crumpet.  The idea behind this challenge is that three colours are chosen for that month, and you have to pick a polish from your stash for each colour, and stick to those specific polishes for the challenge, which involves four manicures, posted the last two Tuesdays and Thursdays of the month.  (You also have free use of black/white/silver/ gold and glitter toppers).

So, the colours for this month are RED, PURPLE and PINK.  I have chosen GOSH 587 Hot Coral as my red, Sinful Colors 24/7 as my pink, and Models Own Pukka Purple as my purple.  The other day I did a striping tape gradient with these colours, then I created a bit of a polka dot explosion, day three was a leopard print gradient and today I've decided to go for a bit of a geometric design.

I decided to start with a white base, striped over different colours, then finished it off with some polka dots.  This was definitely a design as you go along mani, and I think it worked out ok in the end!

I've really enjoyed participating in the challenge this month, so thank you very much to Debbie Crumpet for organising it, I look forward to next month!

And, as a final round up, here were my four manicures; which one is your favourite?

Claire, this is absolutely gorgeous! It's like a mix between geometrical and abstract tribal (if it doesn't exist, then you invented it and made it great! ;))

  6. This is really really busy and it so works! I have to agree with Nail Novice - it looks like a patchwork quilt. And I love quilts, so success! :) Seriously, though, if I tried to do this much on my nails it would look like a mess. You really rocked it!
