Crumpets Nail Tarts: June Tri-Polish Challenge

Tuesday, 18 June 2013

Hello!  I've actually finally got into gear to participate in the monthly Tri-Polish challenge hosted by the fabulous Debbie Crumpet.  The idea behind this challenge is that three colours are chosen for that month, and you have to pick a polish from your stash for each colour, and stick to those specific polishes for the challenge, which involves four manicures, posted the last two Tuesdays and Thursdays of the month.  (You also have free use of black/white/silver/ gold and glitter toppers).

So, the colours for this month are RED, PURPLE and PINK.  I have chosen GOSH 587 Hot Coral as my red, Sinful Colors 24/7 as my pink, and Models Own Pukka Purple as my purple.

So, for my first manicure, I did a base of Sinful Colors Snow Me White, added striping tape and then used the three polishes to put some gradients onto my nails.  I decided to mix the gradients up a bit so I did some sideways, and some diagonally.  I did a tutorial for this type of mani last week that you can check out here.
