Born Pretty Store: Rose/Swirl Pattern Water Decals

Friday, 7 June 2013

Hello!  I've got another set of fabulous water decals from Born Pretty Store to show you today.  These are a set of rose/swirl water decals which are $2.98 for a set of 16 mixed patterns.

There's a mixture of black patterns, white patterns and white/black patterns, and as I am a lover of the white/pink/black combination I decided to put them over a base color of Sinful Colors Boom Boom, which is a lovely shimmery fuschia pink.
I know I've said it before, but Born Pretty Store water decals are seriously the best I've ever used.  They come off the backing paper super easy and stick completely ridge free to your nails.  Love them so much!

So what do you think?  Cute, right?  It's great that there are 16 different designs on the sheet, as it means there's quite a few left over for just using as an accent nail if you don't want to stick them onto every nail.

  2. Like the nail with the black and white decals. I just found your site 15 minutes ago and dang, you are very talented and have LOTS of patience!! So far my favorite is the pastel colored ones that you applied 3 colors with a sponge. I haven't tried that technique yet but I love how they look. Might try it this weekend. But I don't have pastels. I guess I could mix white polish with some other colors to make them lighter looking. Thanks for sharing your talents!

    1. Hi Michelle! Thank you for your lovely comments! x
I always sponge over a white basecoat, perhaps you could use colours that are a bit thinner (i.e. normally take quite a few coats to go opaque) and not sponge over so much and you might get a lighter effect?
