Hello! Today I've got a second lot of swatches of the new Barry M Limited Edition Summer Bright Nail Paints. The other day I showed you the lime and the pink polish you can get in Superdrug, and today I've showing you the yellow and the neon pink that is available in Boots.
As you can see, I couldn't resist incorporating some nail art based on the cute bottle lids into the swatches again!
So, starting with the pink. This pink is bright! I wasn't sure that it was going to be that different to the pink that is available in Superdrug, but as you can see, it's a much more fuschia pink. I decided to put this over a white basecoat, so that the colour would pop out more. This is three coats of the pink over white. I used the black Barry M Nail Art pen to include a zebra pattern on a couple of my nails. Lovely colour, perfect for summer!
And here is the yellow. WOW. Firstly, I always, always put a yellow over a white base so that the colour shows more, but it just wasn't necessary with this polish. This was so opaque and creamy, and it only took two coats to go opaque, without a white base. Very impressive. (And we all know I *heart* the yellow!) I used the Barry M Nail Art Pens (white and black) to create a tribal pattern based on the lid on my nails.
So what do you think? I love them! LOVE bright colours at the moment, and as usual, Barry M comes up trumps with some perfect summer brights. *salutes*
