Neon, gradient and some stripes...

Sunday, 5 May 2013

Squee!  I've got another bright manicure to show you today! I've used striping tape in gradients before (this one was particularly epic (read: time consuming!).  This time, I decided to paint my nails a white base (Sinful Colors Snow Me White) and then taped up a random stripey / square pattern on my nails.

I then used Sinful Colors Innocent, Sinful Colors Why Not and China Glaze That's Shore Bright from their new neon collection and did a gradient over the top of the striping tape.  Once it was dry, I carefully removed the striping tape, and the white stripes underneath popped out pretty well.
