Nails Inc - You're A Peach - swatches and some nail art

Saturday, 18 May 2013

Hello!  I've got a lovely peachy polish to show you today (plus what I did to jazz it up).  This is You're a Peach from Nails Inc, which was free inside InStyle magazine this month.  I do like Nails Inc polishes but I think their actual RRP of £11ish a bottle is frankly ridick, so it is always worth hunting out the bargains, as they do often give away polishes with magazines (or Diet Coke!).

As this is a pale polish, I painted a white base colour first, then applied You're A Peach.  I was quite impressed as it was pretty opaque over the white in one coat, but I did an extra coat for full coverage.  So this is two coats over white.  I love this colour, perfect for summer!

So, I decided to jazz it up a bit, and grabbed my Barry M Limited Edition Gold (this is a shimmery gold foil), and ripped off a bit of a make up sponge, blobbed some polish onto a piece of scrap paper, and using tweezers to hold the bit of make up sponge, I dipped it into the polish and then lightly sponged it onto my nails, so it gave a the peach bit of a gold shimmery top coat.

This method is really easy to do, and just adds a bit of sparkle to your manicure.  I then added some extra bling to my nails with some studs from Born Pretty Store.

So there you go, one nail polish; three ways.  Hope you all have a lovely weekend!
