Barry M Neon Green, tipped and polka dotted

Monday, 13 May 2013

Gosh, I am all about the neon at the moment!  Loving the bright colours!  A few weeks ago I showed you a couple of the Barry M Neon Polishes, and a few days ago I did a bright neon gradient using those polishes.  Today, I've just gone for a fairly simple design.

First off, I started with a white base (Sinful Colors Snow Me White).  I always do this with either pale colours, or neons to make sure the colour *pops* out.  Then I used 2True Black to paint each side of my tips so that I had an arrow pattern.  Whilst that looked cool on it's own, it was a bit plain for me, so I added some black and white polka dots, and then added the opposite colour into the polka dots using a smaller dotting tool.  Neon party on my hands!
