Pink Fishtail Manicure

The latest trend for nail art that I've noticed cropping up loads recently is the fishtail manicure.  It's pretty simple to do, and much thanks to Lucy's Stash for inspiring me.  Check out her easy to follow tutorial too.

So, the important thing here is to pick colours that are opaque after one coat, or near as, so you don't have to keep going over and over the same areas.  I painted my nails with a pale pink basecoat of Collection Candy Floss and then started painting overlapping stripes with ME ME ME Platinum and Collection Siren.  You just basically keep striping down and overlapping the colours until you reach the end of your nail.  A fair bit of clean up will be required afterwards but overally, pretty simple to do and I really like the look.
